Trying to find information on my great grandmother Ann Carroll. She had a sister called
Eva, both born around or shortly after 1900 in Liverpool uk. (found possible birth dates
for each in 1901 & 1911 uk census, listed as born in Bury, Lancs) I think they had a
brother or brothers and were possibly a fairly new family to England at the time.
I've been told that the family originally came from northern Ireland (don't know
when, poss Belfast area) and has some Spanish roots. This family was apparently protestant
and not catholic. Ann was disowned by the family for marrying a catholic. (Thomas Cain)
This is all i know and any info would be greatly appreciated :)
