Hi Faye,
Perhaps you were writing about the posting I did at
http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.carroll/7580/mb.ashx
The two Carroll websites showing the results are at
http://www.familytreedna.com/public/carroll/default.aspx?section=yresults
Click on the other links on the left.

Right now the Y-DNA37 and the Y-DNA67 are the Best Buys on sale
for testing the Carroll Surname. As I have said before, get the
Y-DNA67 if possible. I believe the 12 marker test is of very
little value, and the 25 marker is still not enough to find
common ancestors. Our Sampson/Duplin County, NC Carrolls would
not have learned as much as we have, if we hadn't found the NULL
value at DYS 425. We would not have known that if we had only
tested to 37 markers. That one anomaly helps set us apart, and I
think it MAY help tie us to the Scots-Irish of Northeast Ireland.
Maybe not! It's too early to say for sure.
I hope you will be able to get the test for your family.
Lura

| Hi Lura: I can't seem to find the last email where you listed
the DNA project and that they were going to let you do it for a
reduced price.
|
| I am going to try to get my brother to let me do this through
him.
|
| Thanks, Faye
