My niece in law is one of the Clay Co., KY Carrolls. My research, very
preliminary, revealed that they were from the William Carroll lineage. The
Rev. War vet whose records are at Heritage Quest. His children are
recognized and available.
Bad (or Devil) John Wright (The Law of Pine Mountain by Phillip K. Epling)
is of this same line

Hi - this is for samuelbettye:
I have a friend from Madisonville, KY who has spent time in genealogy &
asked her about the line there - had hoped to find you some help there
but
here was her reply:
"Sarah:
I got your note, but after looking around, I have no information on
CARROLLS. We once had a David Carroll in our Youth Choir in
Madisonville. I
wonder if this is a member of that family?
Pat"
Sorry that was no help!
Sarah
