a major part of my tree is carroll and i'de love to find someone with ties
close to chelsea .i have 3500 mass carrolls .the carroll dna is a major part of
what i am looking for

The Carroll surname Y-DNA Project underway has at the moment 17 returned
test results, with 4 awaiting results.
It seems that 4 separate Carroll family lines are beginning to be
delineated. That is, there are 4 pairs of 2 that have exact Y-DNA matches, indicating
a genetic relationship. This is a great start for this young year-old, but
ongoing project. I have discovered one previously unknown 1st cousin, with an
ancestor-in-common born in 1775. He was discovered because he joined the
National Geographic Society project now underway.
For those Carroll males interested in such things, I encourage you to join
one of these projects. As discussed earlier here there is no possibility of
your sampled Y-DNA being used for any purpose other than genealogy. But check
it out for yourselves. There are many places to do that online with a
Google search.
