You can see a list of Anjou's books if you go to
http://www.familysearch.org and
choose the "Library" tab near the top. At that
page choose "Family History Library Catalog" right under the Library tab. Next
choose "Author Search" and at that page type in just
the last name "Anjou". (Remember some of his books only included an initial H.
of the initial M. and not the name Gustav.)
You should get a list of 12 books by someone with the name "Anjou". The CARROLL
book is written under the author "Anjou, Gustave".
Once when I did this search this author did not appear with the others in the list of
authors, but it did this morning.
The description given with the CARROLL book says: "The Carroll family originally
from Ireland, and settled in Maryland." I assume
that the book is about the larger family of one we have come to know as a "Charles
Carroll of Carrollton". Many people seem to
think that all CARROLL's are related to the Maryland family, even though our paper
trail would indicate otherwise. It is a shame to
know that there may be deliberate errors in any family genealogy, and others have been
using those errors as a foundation for their
own family lineage.
