Over the past several weeks, I've had quite a few
queries/messages marked non-subscriber automatically bounced to me as the
Listowner/Administrator.
This means that the query comes only to me and does
not go to the entire List.
Quite often the reason for this is that the sender has
more than one mailing addresses and when they send
a query from a different address than the one they are
subscribed under it is automatically bounced to me.
Since I generally have no way of knowing if the sender
is subscribed under another address or is just truly a
non-member attempting to send their query to the List,
it usually leads to an exchange of messages and considerable delay before it
gets to the List.
Bottom line - if you have more than one mailing address,
please make sure that when dealing with any mailing
List that you use the subscribed address for any com-
munication with that List.
Cheers,
Cal
