A family reunion of some Carroll descendants will be held this coming July in
Miramichi (a union of the old Newcastle and Chatham areas), New Brunswick.
The exact dates are Friday through Sunday, July 21-23, 2000.
The specific Carroll family is that of Myles and Barbara Carroll (both named
Carroll!) who married in Bartibog, New Brunswick on 24 June 1902. They had 13
children before Barbara died at the age of 43. Then Myles married a second
time to Martha McGee in July of 1928. This couple then had two more children.
It is the descendants of these 15 children that are the "principles" in this
upcoming reunion.
However, Myles had six siblings and Barbara had seven. Barbara Carroll is
from the Carrolls of Escuminac (or Hardwick), New Brunswick, just across the
Miramichi Bay from Myles' Carroll homesteads. So, a number of Carrolls (and
their relatives and descendants) can be involved in this reunion.
Those organizing the reunion do not have E-mail (I don't think). So, if you
would like more info, please let me know and I will do what I can.

PS: These are NOT the Carrolls of Blackville, Blissfield, Nelson, or Chatham.
However, they all might be related in some distant past (early 1800s). Let me
know if you are interested.
