Janet,
Charles Carroll of Carrollton was an only child. He had no brothers or
sisters.....

Marc,
Do you know anything about brother's of Charles Carroll of Carrollton
being
excommunicated and disinherited from the family due to their changing
of their religion/Church??
Did any of Carroll's from Charles the settler come down into Hillsboro,
Orange
Co., NC that you know of?
I just got a lead that my line of Carroll's from Stephen Carroll, b. 1733
d.
1827 in Orange Co., NC, was possibly disinherited from the family and
blotted out of the will of his father as well as another possible brother.
Also he was related to Charles Carroll of Carrollton. Stephen ended up in
Hillsboro, Orange County, NC. Stephen married Eleanor, and had at least
one child, Benjamin named in his will. Thought may be that he was Charles
Carroll of Carrollton's brother or a cousin.
If you or any other researcher knows of any of these stories any
information will
be appreciated.
Janet
