Yes, over the years, I've been very interested in M. R. Carroll (Michael Redwine
Carroll who married Mary Bullard). I have really felt that Sarah might have been their
daughter, who, as you said, married in 1855 and therefore would not show up in their 1860
listing. I cannot find this family in an 1850 census. The oldest child living with M.R.
and Mary Carroll in 1860 is age 19 (and then ages 17, 14, 6, 4, 2) which means Sarah could
have been their
daughter just 2 years older than their oldest because Sarah is 21 in 1860. Years ago a
researcher told me she had found Michael Redwine in the 1850 Coweta Co., GA, census, but I
can't find him. I've tried initials, first name, second name, etc., but with no
luck. I believe I've searched GA censuses only, so maybe I should branch out to
neighboring states.
