Having "family roots" in another French surname as I do - that of BROUSSE
which in 1700 became BRUCE in the state of Virginia, I am truly proud of my
ties to your Country. The BROUSSE line as we know it now was in Cognac in
the 1600's before going to England due to being Huguenots, then our
original immigrant to America came to the shores of Virginia along w/other
Huguenots.
I too have CARROLLs, but do not know that one you named but perhaps some
of us can help you find more on your John CARROLL & it would be an honor to
be of any asssistance if we can.
