I don't think anyone is being negative about the efforts being made, or
asking the poster to stop posting. The request was to make the subject line
appropriate to the message. That's basic email etiquette, so I don't think
the request was out of line, or specific to anyone's wishes.
Putting all appropriate info in the subject line (such as "Norine Carroll,
TX - tombstone photo" or something like that) allows for a much quicker
sorting of one's Inbox, something I'm sure everyone appreciates, considering
the number of emails we all get - or at least, that I get. Obviously I
can't speak for everyone.
Best,
Mark Carroll

For Allen Wheatley:
I for one, thoroughly enjoy your postings - even tho I don't have direct
line of CARROLLs in TX.
However, in my own direct line, I am related to at least 1 who does, so who
knows....there could be more.
You have my "vote" to keep posting, PLEASE!
I know how hard it can be to please all but designing your efforts to just
pleasing 1 is a bit too much for someone to expect!
We're all adults here & have the free choice to check or not......
I do not think we should expect for someone who goes to the trouble to
volunteer their own time, trouble & to post, to make that specific to my
own
wishes.
Thanks again for what you do & ALL you do!

Mark,
I concur w/ your suggestion. I especially like the fact if poster will mentioned the time
period and the state or country. Gayle
Hi Sarah S.
May your troubles be less, may your blessings be more, and may nothing, but happiness
