I was just wondering if anyone has come across and Elizabeth E Carroll and is able to link her to her parents. She was born in 1846 in Alabama or Mississippi. Her husband was John P. Robinson born in 1842 in Mississippi. I thought that she might be my connection to the Charles Carroll that signed the Declaration of Independence. She has 5 children Walter, Lucy, Annie, James, and Lissie. Thank you.

Hi, I was just wondering if by any chance you have come across an Elizabeth Carroll in the line born in 1846 in Alabama or Mississippi. Her husband is John P. Robinson born in 1842 in Mississippi. I found her maiden name through a death record of many of her children. I have a feeling she may not be connected because looking at most of the Carroll's already attached to Charles Carroll's tree many reside in Maryland up to this time, but just thought I would check around until I am able to locate her parents myself. Thank you.

The cemetary I told you about in MS where Lucinda, James, & John are, is Officially named "Blocker Cem." but locals call it Blocker-Trant cem.
I believe My Ggrandfather either had relatives or knew poeple in Grimes/Brazos county's when he migrated there from MS in the 1880's. They initially settled near Democrate crossing on the Navasot.
Got a hint about DB Carroll's father may be Abnor Carroll, 1830 Census, Walton County, GA.

Thank you for your response. I found out about D.B. Carroll through your Jones relatives. I am originally from Navasota in Grimes County. My other relatives in Brazos and Grimes County are the Andrews and the Trants.

Mr carroll, I am a decendent of Lucinda Carroll (Jones), She married my GG-grandfather(Wiley Jones) mid 1840's, she had 3 children from her first marrage(DB Carroll), James, John, & Sarah Carroll.
She & Wiley had 6 or 7 more children. Lucinda, James, & John are buried in Leake County,MS at a small unkept cemetary called Blocker Cemetary, thier graves are marked w/ headstones. I find it very interesting that some of your Carroll relatives & my Ggrandfather(ZT Jones) both migrated to Brazos Co.TX

Would like to find out about this Carroll as well. I have a John Carroll (great great grandfather born 1868 died 1948). Father is listed as John Carroll and mother as Catherine. There are not many John Carroll's with a wife by the name of Catherine and the time frame appears to fit. I only know that my John Carroll had a sister Mary born 1865 and died 1950 and a brother William born??? and died 1952 - both at Landers St Redfern.

Does anyone know?
Do we have a CARROLL Mail List administrator?
If so, please note the notes supposedly by a Karen Thomas w/no subject at
an sbcglobal.net email address - this is spam or worse being passed as links
on our Mail List -
It's happening on other Mail List from rootsweb.com also - I received
others on various Surname mail lists just yesterday.
I can delete & will - but what of those who may go to one of these the
links?
Thank you,
Sarah H. Studstill

Looking for any information!!1
Bridgidam Sheahan m. Edmundum Carroll on 19 Dec 1855 in buffalo, NY. It was Immaculate Conception Church records.
He is my ggrandfather and this is his first wife. I think he was just passing thru but would appreciate any info on Carrolls or Sheahans in the area. I believe Bridget had a brother, Patrick, and a nephew, Ed - they appear with Carroll's in the 1860 census in Chicago.
Thank you all, Fran
