Hi
This is a new letter on the people as I made some mistake on the other one.
I am looking for information on John Wesley Carroll, born 1856 and died 1929 in Pell City, Ala. He married Mary Elizabeth Fulmer, born 1861 and Died in 1942 in St. Clair Co. Ala. These people is my wife great grandmother and great grandfather. I am wanting to see if I can come up with some pictures of them.
Thank for any help
Ralph
Ralph,
Some dates don't fit. She would have passed her child bearing
years before he was born. Can you give us more correct dates?
Lura

For a lot of years I have done research on our ancestor Fleming Carroll from Augusta County, Virginia. I have massed an awful lot of information. I have searched out others trees for Fleming, and all of them say he died at
Chancellorsville, Not so, here is proof that the Fleming who died in civil war at Chancellorsville was born in 1844.
Here is some of what I have,
Fleming Carroll who was born 1806 and married first to Margaret Welsh DID NOT FIGHT IN THE CIVIL WAR. iT WAS HIS SON WHO DID, AND DIED. Here is the proof.

There was a woman that had a CARROLL newsletter called "CARROLL
CABLES'. I
have tried to get copies from the LDS library with no results. Does anyone
out there have any copies of any of these newsletters. The newslettter is no
longer in print.

Why does'nt any one know this woman. I have checked all Lucilles born in Roanoke, Va between 1914-1916. One of them has to be my Lucille. Her name in 1936 was Lucille Carroll. She had 3 children under 6 years old . 2 girls and 1 son( his name was either Walter or Frank). Her husband was in a TB clinic in Catawba, Va. I feel that Carroll was her maried name.
