Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I also tried this site and I got the same message. I waited a couple of days then I was able to get the site. Try a different surname to see if that helps.
Everytime I try to go into this site I get an error message. What am I
doing wrong?
If you haven't seen it, the new database for death certificates from
1910-1955 is now online at:
http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/
There are links to images through 1920 (will eventually all be there)
and
they will send you photocopies of the others (1921 through 1955) for
only $1.00 each!
This is an excellent resource that's going to be improved as time goes
by.

Sorry, no Hugh.
The two Carroll family sons I know of went north into NY to settle. Also their son John was born 1833.
Good luck,

I have been hunting a James Carroll who came from Ireland. He had a son Henry Clay Carroll born 1833. I can't find anything about Henry Clay's parent'd (except father was James) until 1860 when he was in MO. However while doing research in Bowling green, KY I came across a boy, Henry born about 1837 living with 4 Carroll women who were all born in MO.
If this sounds like anything you might be interested in, let me know. If you know about Henry Clay or his James. Please let me know. Linda Davis

I have a Henry Clay Carroll born 1833 possibly in KY with a father named James who came from Ireland. Do you possibly show Henry Clay? Have been hunting this man down over 20 years. I know all about Henry Clay after he got to MO in 1860 but nothing before then.
Any help appreciated. Linda

Could someone confirm for me that Catherine Carroll of Butler Street, Dunmore, Lackawanna County is listed in the 1930 census as Head of Household, with a daughter Mary and a Thomas Joseph Fitzpatrick(possibly a child). If its true, could I get the information for Thomas. Relationship to Catherine, age, etc. Thanks for the help.
