I have a Jacob Carroll born 1823 in NC. He had brothers named Drury D. Carroll and William H. Carroll (born in GA) and sisters named Celia, Sarah, and Mary (born in GA). All of these sibling's parents were Dennis Carroll (1793-1859) who married Nancy Waggoner. Dennis Carroll's parents were Dennis Carroll, who married Sarah Eliza Stone. If any of these match your family, please let me know. I appreciate any info anyone can provide.
I'm looking for information on Daniel Carroll, of Limerick, Ireland. He was
a wharfinger's foreman. He is known to have died prior to Dec. 27, 1878. His
son, Michael was born in Limerick, 1858. Michael had moved to London by
1877, worked in the postal office, and married a Julia Flem(m?)ing.
Grateful for any information, and happy to share more info regarding
Michael's descendants,
Lesley Murphy

Hi, Pam
I live in CA too. It is unbelieveable to me to have your message come up. I also got a message from a Jeremy Carroll yesterday. I am sending him your page so that he can be excited too.
I regret to say that I am quite new at all of this. I have been working with my cousin on our McKinney line, but my father's name was Carroll and he knew absolutely nothing about his grandparents, not even his grandfather's name, which was Drury Madison. I do not know the where abouts of William Henry's burial place. I don't have much information, but if there is anything you would like to know, please let me know. I sent what information I do have to Jeremy and he sent me his, and now I have all of this wonderful history of Dennis and Nancy.
Please write and let me know if you want any of my history.
Thanks again, Joan
I keep checking every so often to see if anyone traces back to Denis Carroll
and Margaret Kennedy who were married in the RC church at Kildorrery, Cork,
in 1813.

Hi,
I descend from Martha M., elder sister of William H. So most of my Carroll research stops in the 1860s, but you can see my research about William H. Carroll's parents (Dennis Carroll and Nancy Waggoner) at my site http://www.pamiller.net
I've included info on Wm H. in my write-up about Dennis and Nancy because he stayed so close to them in the records.
Question...I know Lucy Ann (McDonald) Carroll is buried at Evergreen in McLennan, do you know when Wm. H. died and where he is?
Thanks and regards,
Pam in CA

I was so happy to get a reply to my message that I didn't even thank you. I hope we can be of help to each other. I have also put messages on Genforum, but without much luck. My grandfather, Arch Carroll b. April 10, 1894 in Temple Bell Co., Texas could be your great-great grandpa's younger brother. I would love to be able to fill in as many blanks as I can. The genealogist I talked to about the Carroll Family Tree I found, didn't have much information that I needed, but he wanted information on James Warren Carroll Jr's mother-in-law, Exia Augusta Carroll. James Warren Carroll Jr. married Ada Margaret Blair who was a Clement's decendant, and James Warren Sr. had a son, Oscar, husband to Hettie Elms. Both Ada Blair, and Hettie Elms were Clement's descendants. Let me know if I can be of help. You can e-mail me if you like.

I do think this is the Carroll family that I am working on too. I don't
have too much information, but I am excited to hear from someone. I found a Carroll family tree posted on Rootsweb WorldConnect Project. It has James Warren Carroll, married to
Hettie E. Bay, son of Drury Madison Carroll and Annette Phillips. I know for a fact that my grandfather, Arch Carroll, was the son of
Drury and Annette Carroll. I see that James Warren Carroll has five children listed, one being, Alvie Q. Carroll. I contacted a Lloyd
McDaniel and asked him to add my grandfather and his brother,
Dennis to this family tree. He is a genealogist who has written books, but he said his main interest was the connection of this
family to the Clements family. There is a listing of Drury Madison and Annette in the 1880 Coryell Co., Texas census, but James Warren is listed as Jane, not James. Please get back to me about this. I am new at this. When I began looking for my Carroll ancestors, I didn't even know my great-grandfather's name was Drury.

I'm hoping this is the same family tree that I am working on. My great-great grandpa would be James Warren Carroll (b. Feb 21, 1877 in Moffat, TX and d. 1956). He was married to Hettie Carroll (b. June 4, 1882 in Baltom, TX and d 1943). James Warren Carroll was my great-grandpa's father. My great-grandpa being Alvis Carroll. From Alvis Carroll to my family I have information. Let me know if I have the same James Warren Carroll. Thank you.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have found him a little to late. He died Jan. 15, 2003, at 4:45pm in Harrisburg, Illions. He was the son of George Washington Carroll and Margaret Maude Dunn. He was born March 18, 1944 in Evansville, IN. Thanks to everyone that tried to help me in finding him.
I just received church records from Philadelphia, PA with lots of Carroll names. They are listed as sponsors on the baptisms of my Supplee and Souder children in the 1860s and 1870s and again in the 1890s at St. James Church in West Philadelphia. There is also one listed as a witness on a Supplee-Farrell marriage at Our Mother of Sorrows in 1863.
Anyone have these names in this time frame?
Thomas Carroll
Catherine Carroll
John Carroll
Mary Carroll
John A and Helen G. Carroll
Also one of the Souder children married Francis J. Carroll ca 1925.
Thanks, Pat

I will be happy to share my research. Please contact me by e-mail suzyfrtz(a)msn.com. I believe I descend from John's son Abraham. You can see my family tree on Ancestry or Rootsweb Worldconnect. I am hoping to go to London and Ingersoll/Beachville this summer for more research. I am interested to know which child of John's you descend from.
