Am looking for info on Patrick Carroll married to Anne Burgoyne. Both from Ireland. Anne appears in the 1861 Welland County Ontario Census with their children Andrew (abt 1838), Daniel (abt 1841), Patrick (abt 1843). All were born in Ireland. the 1861 census also shows a boy James who was born in Western Canada about 1855. They don't show whether he is a son, grandson, or nephew. Andrew married Eliza McGuire and emigrated to Cleveland Ohio where he appears beginning in the 1880 Census. Any info on the Canadian history would be appreciated. Thanks Kate Hone

I am trying to find Jacob Carroll's wife Mary Duncan. According to the 1900 U.S. Census of Floyd County, Virginia, he and his wife Mary and 4 of their children were living in the Indian Valley Magisterial District. The record indicates that Jacob was born in January 1850, and Mary in February 1867. Their oldest child, Clydia, was almost 11 years old, Idie was 8, Harvy was 5, and Posie was an 11 month old baby.
If anyone has information on Mary's parents, please email me at kagerid(a)aol.com.

Dear Abby:
I have always wanted to write that. My first time. Anyway, is your Albert Dunn from Northern Indiana? My mother's side is Dunn (Dunne in Ireland). My mother has cousins in Indiana. I researching the Indiana contingent but have not gotten far. Anyway, our Dunne's come from County Kildare and perhaps Wicklow. They had a large community of Dunne's in the late 1700's and throughout 1800's living in one area (near Hill of Allen) which was called Dunne Town for obvious reasons. They were turf cutters, road builders, and horseman. Anyway, if you have more info about Albert Dunn I certainly am interested. Good luck in your search.

I am seeking information on Wilson Carroll and Elizabeth Sleasman Carroll. Wilson was the son of William Carrell and Mary A. Avey. Wilson and Elizabeth had a daughter named Susan L. Carroll who went on to marry Walter Kellar McPherson. Susan and Walter lived in Washington Co., MD. I believe that Wilson and Elizabeth also lived in MD. I have that Susan was born in Waynesboro, MD? So I am assuming they lived in Wayneboro too. If anyone is connected or has any information on this families, I would appreciate any help.
Thank you.

I found a Morris Carroll living with my great-uncles James and John Kenny, in Concord, NH, at the time of the 1880 Census. Since John and James's mothere was Ann Carroll Kenney, I am wondering if Morris was related. I have also found that in Concord records, the name Maurice was, for some reason, usually spelled incorrectly at Morris. Is there anyone who thinks they might be related to Morris/Maurice?

Diane,
I am also interested in George. I am trying to determine if he had a daughter Susan who was born ca 1818. He also had a woman Nancy Carroll in his household with several children. They were all listed as Carroll but later listed as Marlow. Susan Carroll had one child, James Starling Carroll, who married Elizabeth Mills, granddaughter of Nasby Mills. James Starling Carroll was my g-grandfather.
