What really disappointed me is ( this is how it was explained to me) you have to pay for
each DNA group that is getting pricey.
Please correct me if I am wrong..

This mail list has been quiet for too long!
I would like to know who has learned something about their
ancestry because of the DNA test. Who has a success story to
share?
Who is totally confused by the results of the test?
Who was disappointed when they saw the results?
How can someone on this mail list help answer some of your
questions?

Bettye,
If you meant to pay for each "group" as 1-12, then 13-25, then
26-37, then 38-67, yes, that would be MUCH more expensive than
having 1-67 done at the same time.
If you meant having the results of a test already completed
entered into another Project at FTDNA, there is no additional
charge. Just click "Join Projects" in the menu on the left side
of the personal page of the donor or contact person. You can
also remove your connection to a given project in the same way.
I have already joined and then "un"joined one project.
I did have to pay to have the DYF371X test done on my cousin's
dna in order to be part of Dr. Kerchner's study, because that
that is an independent study - not connected to FTDNA.
