When a person receives the results of their Y-DNA test from FTDNA, there a link to a site
where they can choose to become a part of
other projects if they wish, isn't there?
FTDNA doesn't appear to have a TRECO project, but if you search their site, you are
referred to the Bahamas Project. A paternal
descendancy chart at
http://home.comcast.net/~libpjr1/bahydna.htm
shows inter-marriage of Treco and Carroll families.
Don't you think the person who contributed that sample just thought there might be a
reason for comparing his sample with the
CARROLL Y-DNA?
