Hey Frank!
Yes, it would have been nice to find a friendly face. I came here at the
same time you did after I left the Gov. (National Coordinator of Educational
Programs - Forest Service - USDA). I was working on a doctoral program in
the History Department but found that the neo-Marxist History Department
didn't quite fit with my cosmic view. I've been teaching Texas History at
Blinn College since the late 80s. It's possible that you may remember my
radio program, Legendary Texas, that ran on KAMU and 61 other stations in
Texas for about ten years.
My number is 979-823-2516 and I'd be happy to talk with you.
Happy New Year!
Jeff

To Jeff Carroll: Jeff, I wish I had known you were in Bryan when we
lived
out there from 1986 to 1998. We could have gotten together and talked
genealogy. I was a professor in the Agricultural Economics and
Agribusiness
Dept at A&M and we lived on Bee Creek Drive in College Station. If you'll
send me your telephone #, I'll give you a call next time we get out there.
We still have a small reunion of long-time colleagues that meets out there
every third or fourth year.
Hope you have a good 2008.
