From: "BETSEY SKINNER" <BSKINNER(a)prodigy.net>
My mother's mother came from a long line of Woodbridge, CT. ancestry.
Her 2G grandmother was Betsey Hine,
her parents were Moses Hine and Susannah Woodruff. I only have his
father's name, Stephen Hine. In looking
thru your file, I think we may well have a fit. Moses was born Dec. 9,
1751, d. June 24, 1832, I don't have a marriage
date for them. I have no dates for Stephen. His parents were Ambrose
Hine and Sarah Roper m. Sept. 30, 1697.
All of this information comes from my grandmother, Annie Emily Newton
Perry b. June 26, 1876, Woodbridge CT,
d. Dec. 30, 1958. She put together the ancestry Wheel in the early 50's
but I know she worked on this for a large
part of her adult life.
I find the North Carolina link interesting. My husband's father was
born and brought up near Farmville, Pitt
County, NC. His ancestry runs throughout the eastern NC area.
Thank you so much in advance for reading this and for any help you might
be able to give me.
Sincerely,
Betsey Skinner
