Hi Rita Carrington Beeler:
For many years I have sought the parents of Dr. Timothy Carrington who was
in New Haven, CT by 10 Jul 1692 when the 1st of his & wife Ann Wilmot's 11
chn. was born.
No tie has ever been found to the MA family (Edward et al). Was Peter
from
a southern state? Given names for sons are not Wilmot names:
Zebulon,
Noadiah, Levinus, Riverius (also Dan, John, Lemuel). Or was he another
immigrant?
I was pleased to see Wilmot, Gilbert, Pierpont in your surname list, but
was disappointed that I was unable to open to them. (My Nancy Carrington
m.
a Gilbert in Wallingford, CT; the Pierpont is in my husband's
lineage.)
What is the secret?
I hope to hear from you.
