Hi Frieda, If you do find a male Carrington descendant from Walker pfCarring 1805 NC - AR,
pleaselet me know. My hope is to get two or three Carrington malesd from our various TN,
MS, AR and TX branches to do a YDNA test.
I suspect your Walker Carrington connects Thomas Carrington (possibly son) and also to
James Walker back in Orange NC.
I had found a record of Thomas Carringotn in TN 1820 and prior. That mght be the link.
I have a full transcript of the suit of Dicey Carrington Mangham 1829 suing her brother,
John J. Carrington. The suit is helping because it names all of their siblings (children
of John Carrington Jr dec'd 1816 and wife Jemima).
Thomas Carrington sold 100a 1799 to Ephraim Carrington (they were brothers...Ephraim is my
ancestor). James Walker proved the deed.
Thanks, Gary
