There are two distinct Connecticut Carrington families. One is an early New England
English family. The other is a later-arriving Irish family that emigrated from County
Roscommon during the 1840s. So, the easy answer is, not all Carringtons are related, even
in Connecticut.

I'm researching my Kentucky Carrington family roots and have encountered two other
Carrington lineages. Are the Connecticut/Massachusetts AND North Carolina lineages related
to mine, in Kentucky?
