Sorry James but my research was only for my late husband's Carringtons who started off in France and then Cheshire 1066
Try the 1841 and 1851 censuses for the people you name!
Brenda

Hi Brenda,
Do you happen to have a John Carrington in your tree born about 1802 married Mary Abeshaw (Born near Hastings, England-1804). They had several children including Ann 1826, George 1831, Henry (1828), Francis and Eleanor. John and Mary's Children were Baptised at the Parish of Saint George, Leicester.
Just thought it was worth a try to see if you had any of these people.
Thanks,
Jim Guppy

Hi,
The Carringtons of Bugsworth were descended from the Carringtons of Cheshire who are first noted as Hamo de Caerenton who was at the Battle of Hastings 1066. My late husband was descended from this line.
Have a huge Carington tree. If you would like what I have I willingly shre with serious researchers.
The family from Cheshire is also found later in Derbyshire, N Yorkshire, London, Devon and Worldwide
