My taught are with the family. Our family had almost the same tragedy 3
years ago now, my daughter survived as well as my grandson. However
My oldest grand daughter died at the scene of the accident and my youngest
grand daughter survived but severely brain injured. The other driver of the
semi ( my car was a small escort. ) was found guilty of running the red
light, was given a 500.00 dollar fine, 3 months suspension of his license.
To my own taught at that time , I was glad that she survived as it kept my
daughter from going insane, but also I am not glad as this child now age 10
lives each day sitting in a wheel chair unable to walk, move around, talk or
communicate. She has undergone sever surgeries such as spinal cord fusion,
tenants cut in arms/ and legs, and so on and so on. The amount of
medication she takes each day just in order to survive is tremendous. We
love her very much as we do our angel in heaven..

Subject: [CARRIER] Re: Prayer Request
I received this sad note from June this morning. June is a Carrier
cousin in the Anson Carrier family. She and her husband (retired
military) live in Oklahoma. She is a very nice lady and certainly
doesn't deserve this. If you'd like to send her a note please use her
address below as she isn't on the Carrier list.

Just a brief prayer request for our family...............a deputy
from
the sheriff's department came by the house earlier this evening with a
message from the Loveland, Colorado's (outside of Denver) medical
examiner's office that my daughter and her two children (our two
youngest grandchildren) were killed in an automobile accident. All
were wearing seatbelts. The children, Samuel (6 years old) and his
'big sister,' Elizabeth (8 years old) were killed by the severe impact
around 11 a.m. or shortly thereafter. Scherie (30 years old) was
transported to the hospital from the scene at 11:30 a.m. and died from
severe head and internal trauma at 2:46 p.m. without regaining
consciousness. It may sound cruel to some, but I am glad God took
Scherie also. The children were the light of her life and she could
not have stood living without them nor they without her. The! miracle
is that God is cradling them in His precious arms now.

Story from the Loveland newspaper
Accident kills 3
Reporter-Herald Staff
A 31-year-old woman and two children died Monday when the woman
apparently drove through a stop sign in Wellington and was hit broadside
by a truck.
The woman, who possibly was a Texas resident, was driving west on
Jefferson Avenue when she apparently failed to stop at the intersection
of Colorado 1, said Colorado State Patrol Trooper Brett Mulnix.
A Ford pickup driven by Ryan Berg, 28, of Wellington, hit her station
wagon. Both vehicles skidded for 150 feet before coming to a stop,
Mulnix said.
Berg had the right of way. "There's evidence he made a significant
attempt to avoid the collision," Mulnix said.
A 10-year-old girl and 8-year-old boy died at the scene. The driver went
to Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins by ambulance, where she died.
Berg suffered minor injuries and was treated and released at the hospital.
The trooper said he would release the names of the woman and two
children killed after notifying relatives.
