I wonder if Mrs. Moores first name was Lucille?
Might be the couple Kenny Rodgers was singing about a while ago.

WOMAN WHO FLED WITH ANOTHER MAN, LEAVING CHILDREN BEHIND
Alleging that his wife ran away with a former boarder, whose name was given as ARTHUR
CARRIER. W.O. MOORE, of Inman, swore out warrants before Magistrate JOHN D. HAMER charging
them with
adultery and fornication.
CARRIER was arrested Friday between Inman and Campobello in an attempt to leave with
MRS. MOORE. He was
released when she put up his cash bond. They are believed to have left immediately.
MR. MOORE said that his suspicions had been aroused several days before they left
when he discovered his
wife packing her's and CARRIER'S clothing together in a suit case.
He has tried to persuade his wife to return to her children but she refused.
CARRIER is described as weighing about 200 pounds, tall, stooped shouldered, black
hair, red faced, with
two fingers of his left hand missing.
MRS. MOORE is described as having brown, bobbed hair, brown eyes, slightly stooped
shoulders, five feet
six inches tall and weighing about 125 pounds. At the time she left she was wearing a pink
dress, yellow sweater and small black hat.
There are 5 little children in the family ranging from ages 3 to 12 years. The oldest
has become ill since her
mother left. MR. MOORE said the children cry almost all the time for " mama".
For the sake of his children, MR. MOORE said that he wanted his wife back.
