<> Can you see the results of the others tested?<>
Yes, I can...About 4-500
<> How many markers?<>
I started with the 12-marker, then went on to 25, then 37 & finally 67
markers...
<> What's your Haplogroup?, just curious.<>

**On 5/19/2003, these values were adjusted down by 1 point because of
a change in Lab nomenclature.
***A value of "0" for any marker indicates that the lab reported a
null value or no result for this marker. All cases of this nature are
retested multiple times by the lab to confirm their accuracy. Mutations
causing null values are infrequent, but are passed on to offspring just like
other mutations, so related male lineages such as a father and son would
likely share any null values.
<>Do you have a close Carrier relative that might be interested?<>
I have a cousin, Robert Carrier (the ice-skater) who lives outside of
Philly...I'd hafta call his Mom to find out how to get a hold of him to
ask...He's the last of my generation...
Then again, maybe I could ask my 82 -ear-old Uncle Donald Gray
Carrier...
I'll let ya know if I can get ahold of him...
He's kinda leery of the news I give him about my Carrier
contacts...LOL
<>mtDNA tests seem to be a little less than the Y-chromosome.<>
From the FTDNA ordering page:
$89 for the initial test (mtDNA)
$149 for High resolution (mtDNAPlus)
$475 for HIGHEST resolution (mtFULLSequence)
Seems a tad pricey...especially for the FULL shot...
Bob (Thomas-Richard-Amos-Amaziah-John M.-Daniel S.-George H.-George
L.-Joan Carrier Smith)
less than the Y-chromosome.
