Maybe this will help a bit.
Kneeland Carrier may be Kneland Carrier (Benjamin Kneeland, Benjamin,
Benjamin, Andrew, Thomas)
Born Dec 23, 1786 probably in Mass.
Note states "Probably the Kneland Carrier, a soldier in war of 1812 from
Strafford, VT.?"
There is a stray Cyrus Married Sally Nelson July 28, 1812 in Vermont, he's
the only Cyrus I could find who would fit the time frame. No more info on
him.
There's a few Thomas's in that era in my data base but they either stayed in
N. England or were in Penn. when they died.
