Hello Dave & all.
Now that the wind has stopped blowing, the snow has stopped and my powers back on,
(lovely upstate N.Y. in November) I can respond to this subject.
The BALL mailing list has been conducting a DNA project like this looking at New England
Balls & Virginia ones
and trying to find a common link back to England..
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~scperkins/BallDNA.html
The two big draw backs I can see are the cost ($90 or $169) and interpreting the results.
From the results posted on their page I don't see where they've answered any
questions the project was
designed to do.
Just my opinion, think i'll save my money for christmas shopping for the
grandchildren.
