Yes this is a different William Henry Carrier. It took me a bit to separate
the 2. My ancestor WH Carrier (1833-1906) descended from Thomas Carrier of
Massachusetts and Connecticut. It would be great to find a male descendant
of this WH Carrier for the DNA project.
There was a post in 2000 indicating this WH Carrier's letters had been
preserved. I would love to learn more about those.

I would be interested in learning more about William Henry Carrier, his
wife
Susan Bligh Carrier following up on the old 2000 post by Gloria Hughes.
The
Carriers lived in Wisconsin in 1860. He was in the Civil War.After the war
they moved to Buchanan County Iowa. They had 5 children, 4 born before the
Civil War, one after.
