William H is my GGG Grandfather, thru Charles (GGGF), James Washington (GGF)
and Chester(GF) and Gifford H (F); unfortunately I live in Virginia Beach,
VA and am about 6 hours or so from Sullivan County. But I do find it most
interesting. If I go to the NASCAR in Bristol in the spring, I will try to
allow enough time to do some research for a couple of days; Janet, if you
find out anything in SLC, please share your info with us on the Digest. I
too will share with all if I find anything meaningful.Randall Carrier

Hi Darryn,
This is great - thanks for sharing. It's my understanding that the early
records for Sullivan Co., TN, are lost - I could be wrong (sure hope so).
I'll be in Salt Lake next week and will look further. If Thomas Morrell
DID
leave a will, there may be a record; if not, the probate records may
not
go
back that far.
