The first hook up I have with the Hatchers and Carriers of east tn is Nancy
Hatcher daughter of Wm Hatcher married Thomas Carrier s/o W. john Carrier jr
. Nancy according to Families & Histories of Sullivan county Tn was the
daughter of Wm Hatcher and was born in Sullivan County (then Washington
County NC) in 1787. Thomas and Nancy moved to Laurel Kentucky in the spring
of 1830 . I am sure I have seen references to William Hatcher prior to 1796
in East Tn I'll check my notes. ( Linda Hope your husband gets well soon.
Just got back to Rocky Top from Orlando Cousin Tom Carrier. )

YES THE HATCHERS DO BELONG TO THE W.JOHN LINE AND DOWN IN EAST TN - I
HAVE
MUCH, MUCH ON THE W. JOHN, JONATHAN-JOHNATHAN-JOHN CALVIN, ETC. LINE. AND
THOMAS SOMEWHERE IN THERE, TOO. MY MIND IS BLURRED.
HOWEVER, I CANNOT SHARE AT THIS MOMENT. MY HUSBAND IS IN I.C.U. IN
CRITICAL
CONDITION AND I JUST LOOK AT E-MAILS WHEN I CAN. I WILL KEEP THIS ONE AND
AT SOME FUTURE DATE GIVE YIOU WHAT I HAVE.
IN MY LINE ARE MORRELL, SHIRLEY (SHAWLEY), EMMERT, HENDRIX AND OTHERS.
ONE
OF THE EMMERTS MARRIED A SHIRLEY FROM MD AND I HAVE HIS REVOLUTIONARY WAR
SERVICE PAPERS. SO THEY AT LEAST CAME INTO E. TN FROM MD.
