Grady,
Neither George May's or Helynne Carrier's books list an Adelbert L.
Carrier.
Helynne does have an Adelbert Amos Carrier b-ca 1842 d-ca 1902
the son of Flavius Pease Carrier, looks like they lived in Liberty, NY.
No mention of any Civil War servis for this Adelbert.
Some where on my computer I do have a picture of
Adelbert Carrier, Private in the 143rd Regiment,NYS Volunteer Infantry.
But he's a stray soul as I don't know for sure which one he is.

Dear Neal:
Do you have any information on an Adelbert L Carrier who signed up in
November 1862 (Same unit as Myron Adelbert Carrier) in the Union Army?
Might this person be the same Adelbert that was son of Flavius Carrier of
Sullivan Cy NY?
Also, for the Anson Carrier line watchers, Myron Carrier (already a
physician) was in Van Buren Cy Michigan in 1880. He was married to a
Julia
E from Michigan but with parents born in Massachusetts and they had a son
Charlie K Carrier. As we know Myron was married to Melvina Munds 4 years
later, but we do not yet know whether he divorced or lost his second
wife.
Brother Albert Carrier (8 years younger) was also a physcian in the same
county.
Best Regards
