Hope you're on HIGH ground!
High & dry.
Shouldn't you be looking for Thomas Morgan (Wogan)?
That's like looking for a John (or Robert) Smith in the us, you get 564
hits.
Searching for T.M. in wales, none listed as being born before 1676
THere was a Thomas Morgan b:1625 in Kingsland Herts. England, and his
father was Richard, will have to scope this out.
I think the Wogan thing is a false trail, Thomas Wogan was in Holland in
1666 while T.C.
got married in 1764 in Mass.
You're probably onto something, there...but from what I've read of
Thomas, he may have been born as early as 1622.
Some of his family claimed that he was as old as 113 at his death...
But then, some Carriers have been known to be bullshitters, they probably
wanted to get into the Guiness records.
Is Wirkworth close to Wales? Were there any UK Censuses (Censi?) taken
in the early 1600s?
Or were there just the vitals recorded?
If so, are they anywhere that we can access them?
WIrksworth is in the Midlands
area, not that close to Wales.

P.S. I talked to my Aunt Betty today & she's gonna send me the info on
her Carrier children. Her son Robert is the only Carrier left to carry
on George Levaldan Carrier's line. I'll forward the info as soon as I
get it.
OK, thanks
