hi everyone,
I too am researching the Carriers. I just recently started working on the
Carriers which is a line on my mother side.So far all I have is as follows;
John or Thomas Carrier born abt 1840 from Southeastern Ky or north eastern Tn Who
had married a Len Parker and they had at least 7 Children one of which was my
great grandmother Nancy Ann "Nanny" Carrier Born abt 1840 died March 6, 1904
who
Married my Great grand father Smith Speed Kelley born born 3-6-1862 n KY and died
7-1-1946. They had 8 boys one of which was my grandfather Matt Kelley born in
1892 in Rockcastle county Ky.
My Greatgrandmother Nancy Ann Carrier brothers and sisters were Emily,
Paul,Lottie, Lou,Phil and Ned. I have lots of info on the Kelleys/Kelly and the
Roses and my wife has
a lot of info on her lines of Durhams and Walls. I am willing to share all that
we have although some of it is not certified facts.
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Ron Rose

OK, time to wake up the list.
We've had some new members join us since Christmas and it would be a good
time to have a roll call to introduce ourselves to each other.
Would everyone post a note as to who they're researching, where, time frames,
where you live and any brick walls in your research.
It would help if you'd change the subject line to show which Carrier line or
location you're researching.
I'm Neal Carrier, head warlock of the Carrier list and I live in Floyd,
