I have a story that my grandmother used to tell, she could only have heard
it from her elders. It goes: Three Carrier brothers escaped France as they
were caught in a plot to kill the French king. She had no dates or first
names to give. I had always thought they came here, but there is no
information on that. Maybe there is something to it after all. However, my
line did not pass down the trials and tribulations of Thomas and Martha, at
least my grandmother never mentioned it. She has a half-sister still living
and I will try and see what she may know. The plot thickens! (sorry,
couldn't help it).

Hi,
I found some information saying that some ancestors of Thomas Carrier were
in a plot to kill a King of France, and ended up having to flee to
England.
Does anyone else have any information on this?
Curiously,
Alice
