I subscribe to ancestry. Lots of members, lots of information. Lots of
photos. The only problem is that if people put the wrong information in
their tree (and it happens alot) and you want to add something, then you
end up with wrong information in your tree. Then other people unknowingly
drag all of the misinformation into their trees and before you know it you
have some 10 family trees with misinformation.
Hence, other people researching believe it to be true and don't seek out
their own resources. It kind of gets hard sorting through the bad stuff.
Over all, there are many many records on ancestry, from military to census
records, marriage records and more.
As for cost, I guess it depends on what you want and what you're looking
for.

I was wondering what paid services our members subscribe to.
Ancestry,
Footnotes, NEHGs, etc.
What is your opinion of what you use, cost, information available, and
would
you recommend it to others.
