Well, it is a good thing I wasn't involved... the only reason being was that
it was a weekend my fiancee had to do wedding planning. I told them that if
they couldn't fly the both of us there, then I wouldn't do it. I am surprised
they didn't bite considering I am a direct descendant. Anyway perhaps it is just
as well I didn't do the show. I didn't watch it, but if their "detective"
work is as shoddy as you said, then I would have created quite the uproar! They
wouldn't have wanted me to be there. Seriously. This is my family, and don't
you mess with it. :-)

Nicole,
That could have been you on the show tonight.
Neal
and now the rest of the story:
A few months ago I received a phone call from a TV producer in NY City who
was looking for a female descendant of Martha for a television show.
I gave him Nicoles name as I knew she live there but she couldn't do it.
I had forgotten all about it until I watched the credits at the end of tonights show
and saw that it was done by Lion productions........shazamm.....that's where the guy called from.
Oh well, Pam, your cousin got her 15 seconds of fame.........
But I didn't care for their detective techniques. Why didn't they do carbon dating.
I was ready to hire a lawyer to reclaim the family homestead............

Hi there-----
I just thought you might like to know that on PBS this week (Wed. evening here) there is a show called History Detectives. My cousin Diane is involved in it, but Martha Carrier and her dealings with the Abbots is one of the segments.
