Anna Letha Kinzer, 99, (nee Carrico) of Lorain entered her eternal life on Monday, August
14, 2017
at The Woods on French Creek in Avon following a brief illness.
Mrs Kinzer was born in Fancy Farm, Kentucky on January 31, 1918, the daughter of the
late
Samuel and Anna E. (nee Thompson) Carrico. She was a 1936 graduate of Fancy Farm High
School in
Fancy Farm, Kentucky.
She and her family moved into Lorain in 1956. She was a member of the St. Mary
Church.
She worked as a cashier with the former W. T. Grant Store but most recently prided
herself in
being a homemaker.
Mrs. Kinzer enjoyed baking, cooking desserts, being a seamstress but most of all
raising her
family.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane R. (Danny) Smith, of Elyria, son Dennis W.
(Linda)
Kinzer of Lorain, daughter in laws Pat Kinzer of North Ridgeville and Diane Kinzer of
Powder
Springs, GA, 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and a sister Rita Raley of
Florence, KY and
many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Nelson J. Kinzer,
a
granddaughter Kimberley Fantozzi, great granddaughter Amanda Krajanowski, sons Ronald
Kinzer, David
Kinzer, brothers Joseph Carrico, Leo Carrico and sisters, Sr. Anna Rita, Mabel Thomas,
Christine
Wischer, Josetta Kennedy and Frances Suethotz.
Friends are invited to call Friday, August 18, 2017 from 10:00 am. until a Mass of
Christian
Burial at 11:00 am in St. Mary Church, corner of 8th and Reid Avenue, Lorain with Father
Andrew
Hoover, associate pastor of St Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville, officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
