Subject: [CARRICO] Carrico list
I'm a bit familiar with administration of a rootsweb list, so
when Andrew
at
rootsweb posted twice recently looking for the administrator of the
Carrico
list to contact him, I knew something was amiss. I'm not sure who
the
admin
was, but whomever has apparently changed e-mail address's or
something &
mail was probably bouncing back to rootsweb.
I wrote Andrew & told him if the list appeared abandoned I would be
willing
to step in. Welllll..........
A message arrived yesterday from rootsweb welcoming me as the
Administrator
for the Carrico list! So, I guess here I am. Don't expect any
changes,
unless ya'll get too rowdy. :-) Actually, I wish you all would!!
Actually, I'm just here so the bounced mail for bad addresses will bounce
back to me to handle or if any other questions or problems should arise.
Meanwhile, my name is Linda Boorom, my grandmother's maiden name was
Carrico, born in Graves Co. KY, daughter of Samuel Pius Carrico & a
descendant of Alexander (AKA John A. ) Carrico & Mary Sedgwick. Grandma at
93 is still alive, but, aside from a few memory's from her childhood,
hasn't
been any help getting beyond Alexander. So, still searching for
answers
like
most of you.
So, post away, roll call, whatever.......
