publication in this manner. Beware that this is no longer a "primary source" as
this will be it’s 3rd (or more) transcription from the original. The first transcription
being what was transcribed from the original will into the court records (no copier’s or

August 26, 1833
I will my estate to my beloved wife ELIZABETH CARRICO during her life to be used by her
will and pleasure to raise and educate my children. That is to say my land on which we now
live containing one hundred and fourteen and three fourths acres, my nergo girl Eleanor
all my household goods and live stock and everything belongining to me except my Negro
woman Ede and Lewis her son. They are to be sold to pay my debts and if they fail to pay
my debts the residue to be raised by the sale of the stick of horses they being more than
necessary for their support. And after the death of my beloved wife my estate is to
equally divided amongst my eight children LEVINEY [LURNEY], COLUMBUS, EDWARD, GREENBERRY,
WILLIAM M., AMBROSE A., JOSEPH B., JANE FRANCES and JAMES HILARY so as to make them all
equal in everything, etc.
LEVINEY having received one hundred dollars of her part the others are to receive the
same amount, etc.
I do hereby make JOHN HIGDON the exexutor of this my last will, etc.

This appears to be the Joseph who married Elizabeth Cambron Washington Co Oct. 1812.
Anyone with "proof" of his parentage?
