Lawrence N. "Norman" Carrico, 79, of Swansea, Ill., born March 11, 1934, in
Fancy Farm, Ky., died Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Mercy Hospital, St. Louis,
Mo.
Norman retired after 37 years from General Motors in St. Louis, Mo. He was a
member of the Metro East Social Singles and the U.A.W.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph K. and Mary E., nee Hayden,
Carrico; a brother, Bill Carrico; and two sisters, Margaret Montgomery and
Margie Williams.
Surviving are his children, Larry (Sharon) Carrico of Town & Country, Mo.,
and Keith Carrico of Ballwin, Mo.; his grandchildren, Steven Carrico of Des
Peres, Mo., Nicki Carrico of Brooklyn, N.Y., Kelly Carrico of Waltonville,
Ill., Ryan (Tristese) Carrico of Ludington, Mich., and Airman 1st Class
Brett Carrico of Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D.; a brother, Tom (Janet)
Carrico of Waterloo, Ill., and Louise Knaghtsead of Mascoutah, Ill.; and a
special friend, Virginia "Ginny" Arbogast.

at Kassly Mortuary Chapel, Fairview Heights, Ill., with Rev. Von C. Deeke
officiating. Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
