Now that we are getting to the bottom of the Carrico question in
North America, has there been any research done connecting the name
Carrico with any famous people, whether alive or dead. What about
being related to any of the founding fathers.
We have a distinct family name in the US and one that has been around
for a long time.

The Nathaniel H. CARRICO you see in the 1870 census of Graves Co.,
KY, is the Nathan Henry CARRICO (b. 15 Sep 1841; d. 14 Apr 1921) in
files at
WorldConnect.com. He is the son of Henry CARRICO & Lucy
REED. In the 1870 census, Nathaniel is listed next to his widowed
mother, Lucie CARRICO.
In the 1860 census, we find Amanda CARMON (æ 16, b. TN) living in
Graves Co., KY, with her widowed mother, Nancy CARMON (æ 50, b. TN)
and brother, Thomas CARMON (æ 10, b. KY). So, it does appear
Thomas is Amanda's brother and that her maiden name is CARMON
