List,
Michael Hait obtained for me records from the Archives of Maryland
pertaining to James Carrico's probate or Estate records. I have finished
transcribing these and uploaded to my website
http://freepages.family.rootsweb.com/~boorom/carrico/carrico.html
From the main page go to "Maryland" then scroll to
"Wills & Probate" &
select "James Carrico Probate" to
see an index page of each of the
documents.
Alexander Carricoe was in the February of 1812 Guardian Accounts, he must've
turned 21 during the following year placing his birth in 1791 or 1792.
The last record that Michael could find in any of the indexes was the April
1817 Guardian Account for John Martin Carricoe. Since James & Mary Amnia
(Anna?) married in April 1796 it seems that perhaps John Martin was her son
since he was still considered a minor 21 years later!!!
There is other information in the other records as well, the "Orphans court
Proceedings" are esp. interesting.
Next on my list (besides yard work) are several deeds in 1802 wherein
Vincent Carrico has sold some of the land which his father owned &
distributes the money to several of his siblings!
Enjoy
Linda
