Diana & all,
Kathie & Sharon Brahmstadt sent me several of the DC Carrico documents that
I have put on my website in the "District of Columbia" section. These
include William B. Carrico's family bible & various death records.
According to William's 1857 obit that I found, he had been a resident of DC
for 58 years or since abt. 1799. However, no Carrico's are to be found in
the DC census until 1820.
To add to your list below, there is also Peter Carrico, misindexed as
Cassier. I submitted the correction, don't know if it is searchable or not.
It is my understanding that the James & Peter were William's brother's.
Interesting that the B. stands for "Bartholomew"!! I don't think that Sharon
is certain who the Jane Carrico was, but suspects that she was their mother.
As to Alexander, he is actually in Georgetown, not Washington with the
others. I suspect that this is James Carrico of Peter's son. He seems to be
the Alexander Carrico who married Priscilla Kinnick 1820 in Prince George's
Co.

Hello Kathie,
I would be. In the 1820 census, I found an Alexander CARRICO, a James
CARRICO,
and a Jane CARRICO. Do you know who they are?
