Many thanks for the quick and thorough response.
I have seen that European names are very fluid, especially during the 12 to 15th
centuries....the son of Hamo de Crevecoeur became FitsHamon, de clare became sinclair and
St. Clair, de Roos becomes Rose,etc.
I am very interested in the Charles County, MD Carrico. I have found a John de Creageau
there in the ealy 1700s. The haplogroup of the two sons with the paper ancestry to
Carrico is interesting too: R-1b1b-2a1b = R-P312.
My Crago/Craigo Haplogroup is R1b1b2a1a1. I am not in anyway saying that we might be
related but the Carrico or Carricoe surname is of interest to me.
Have you made your DNA available to a wider group of DNA participants? I believe that
FamilyTreeDNA permits.
