ROGER P. CARRICO, 63, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, March 22,
2016, at King's Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Ky. Funeral services will
be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Slack and Wallace Funeral
Home, South Point with Dr. Scott Mann officiating. Burial will follow in
Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio.
Roger was born April 3, 1952, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Paul
Vernon Carrico and Leona Gillette Carrico. In addition to his parents, he
was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen Pack and a brother, Paul
Edward Carrico.
He was a lineman for American Electric Power.
Survivors include his wife Cheryl Bragg Carrico; two children, Zachary
Phillip Carrico and Brandi Lynne Carrico-Epperly; a sister, Carolyn Sue
(George) Davis; a brother, Lowell Vernon (Sue) Carrico; five grandchildren,
Tara Lynn Carrico, Alston Phillip Carrico, Madison Renee Epperly, Chase
Phillip Carrico and Megan Nicole Epperly; a sister-in-law, Colleen Carrico;
a brother-in-law, David Pack; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Slack
and Wallace Funeral Home is honored to have been chosen to serve Roger's
