Who is the John Carrico [must have been born before 1737] son of James in the
1758 tax list and who is his father James?
We know that Peter must be Peter II who m. Ann & Margaret. his son should be
John who would be of right age.
The James must be son of Peter I who m. Catherine. [the only child mentioned
in the lease of 1742 was a dau Sarah so this one would not have a son old
enough to be in the Tax list by himself] Of course the lease could have been
from relations of Catherine & she could be a second wife & James might have
children earlier. Which could explain the James but what about this John?] Can
someone shed some light on this John Son of James ?
