This contains "Carrico" & "Carricl".-----and the given name of
"Francis".
I have always viewed the Carrico/Kerrick surnames as possibly
having
some common denominator further back in history. Just a
thought.
One of the passages is:
"............... After the death of Benjamin H. Kerrick's
wife, Mary, soon after
1830 he married Theresa (Teresa) Carrico, whose brother was
Thomas I.
Carrico. Her father was more than likely Levi Carrico, a close
neighbor
of Benjamin H. Kerrick for many years. Teresa was born in 1781
and died
about the end of August 1850, Her will is recorded in Spencer
County
Will Book C " (Ky)
My line----Melinda/Verlinda Carrico 1777-1857 is mentioned in
one Preston Co.
book as dgtr. of Francis; however, a death record has been
found that lists her
parents as Peter Carrico & Catherine (unk). I just keep
checking to verify this.
also. .. . . . .
The Monongalia (WV) Story Vol II by Earl Core: " Miscellany:
in 1786 . . . . Peter,
Francis and Catherine Carrico, siblings, settled at
the mouth of Wolf
Creek, along Cheat River (Morton p. 171)
Any ideas????
Warm regards,
Carolyn
