who was born in Grayson County, Virginia and died in Tilden, Madison Co, NE

Rites Wednesday At Norfolk for Mrs. Logsdon
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the
Howser Mortuary in Norfolk for Mrs. Carrie Goldsworthy
Logsdon, 70, Firestone, Colo., who died Sunday afternoon
in a Norfolk hospital. She had been visiting a daughter in
Norfolk since Dec. 17 and had been hospitalized about two
weeks.
Rev. B. C. Poncelow will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest
Memorial Park.
The body will lie in state from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at
Howser Mortuary.
She was born March 14, 1895, at Meadow Grove to Mr.
and Mrs. A. W. Goldsworthy. She married Arthur Carrico
January 3, 1917 and he died in 1925. In 1944 she married
Ora Logsdon who died in 1960.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Wayne Cook of Norfolk,
Mrs. Frank Cimino of Firestone, Colo., and Mrs. John Harris
of Pendleton, Ind; a step-son, Ellis Logsdon of Firestone, a
step-daughter, Mrs. William France of Denver, a brother,
Glenn Goldsworthy of Norfolk, a sister, Mrs. A. W. Rimovsky
of Norfolk, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two
daughters.

Area Deaths and Funerals
Mrs. Carrie Logsdon
Services for Mrs. Carrie Logsdon, 70, Firestone, Colo., were
Wednesday at Howser Mortuary with Rev. B. C. Poncelow
officiating. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Music for the services was furnished by vocalists Sherry
Pickerell and Donna Hurley and organist Martha Babcock.
Honorary pallbearers were Ernest Knebel, E. L. McCue,
Werner Muller, John Ballentyne, Dick Muller and Dewey Wetzel.
Active pallbearers were Dave Lesser, Ed Vrzal, Ray Harrison,
Fred Clanton, Virgil Cook and Kenneth Cook.
Mrs. Logsdon died Sunday in a Norfolk hospital.
